The weekend’s biggest draw lifts off in Lamoille County as the Stowe Balloon Festival opens its three-day run at the Polo Fields. The Vermont Renaissance Faire marks its 10th anniversary at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
