Vermont celebrates food and farmers!
I am excited to invite you to attend the 2024 Liberty Food Fest to support our farms, learn about food and food rights, and meet with other like-minded souls.
Virginia farmer Joel Salatin will speak on all three days of this terrific local event, including at a Thursday night dinner at The Hungry Diner in Walpole, New Hampshire. Joel is a humble, brilliant, passionate speaker, and it is rare to have the opportunity to speak with him in a small venue. (The fantastic, local food is an additional plus).
Other great speakers aligned around food and farming are listed here. I will be speaking on Friday morning about my next book, titled “Farm Hard or Starve.” Multinational corporations have appropriated to themselves the title of “sustainable” farming despite churning out oodles of chemicals to pollute our soils, water, and food supplies. They also propose to use climate change and “net-zero” goals to control every aspect of farming and every morsel of food — what is being done in Europe (and Ukraine) is coming soon to an American theater (grocery store) near you. I will prove my case on December 13, beginning at 10 AM in Bellows Falls: surrender local food supplies to corporate control at your own peril!
(Joel Salatin speaks just before me on Friday, at 9 AM. Joel is a tough act to follow, but I do enjoy the challenge!)
A movie screening of the upcoming “The Right to Food,” local food and goods, and a variety of great speakers make this a special opportunity for New Englanders to learn where their food comes from now, and whom to trust with our food supplies in the future. This is a celebration of farmers, but also their customers — this is the most important alliance we can build!
Early bird tickets are available (and discounted). Buy your tickets now, and spread the word.
“Control the food, control the people.” Regardless of who wins the election, the world’s largest corporations seek to dominate all food for profit and control — to “save humanity” from itself. As for me and my house, we will save ourselves (and our cows and sheep!)
Come be part of the revolution — the food and health liberty movement!! This event will inform, inspire, and involve. Get involved in your own food and farming community!….
….And meet Joel Salatin in the flesh. He alone is worth the drive…. but even if Joel weren’t in attendance, the Jamaican food, the Hungry Diner, and the list of great speakers make this an event not to miss!!
