Mark Coester Announces 2026 Congressional Campaign

TIME TO FINISH WHAT WE STARTED: I’M RUNNING FOR CONGRESS

Westminster, VT – June 26, 2025 – I’m proud to officially announce that I will be running for the U.S. Congress again in 2026.

Last cycle, over 100,000 Vermonters stood with me because they were tired of being ignored by career politicians and out-of-touch elites in Washington. I ran on a simple, honest message to put Vermonters first, defend our freedoms, and fight for working families and small businesses. That mission hasn’t changed. In fact, it’s more important now than ever.

I’m a small business owner, a logger, a fisherman, a sugar maker, and a Vermonter through and through. I’ve seen firsthand how bad policies out of Washington hurt families like ours. Rising costs, open borders, government overreach, and weak leadership have made life harder for hardworking people in this state.

I refuse to sit on the sidelines. That’s why I’m stepping up again.

When I get to Congress, I’m going to fight to:

  • Lower energy costs and bring common sense back to our energy policy
  • Defend our rights and freedoms from federal overreach
  • Secure our borders and crack down on the fentanyl killing our kids
  • Support small businesses and family farms
  • End the influence of career politicians and push for term limits

I believe Vermont belongs to the people, not to Washington insiders, and not to special interests. I’m not a polished politician. I’m one of you. And I’m going to keep speaking up, standing firm, and fighting like hell for our state.

This is a people’s campaign. No big money, no backroom deals, just Vermonters coming together to take our future back. If you stood with me last time, I need you again. And if you’re ready for a new voice in Congress, I’d be honored to have you join this fight.
