This afternoon, Friday, Jan 14, the House Judiciary Committee again took up gun control bill S.30.
S.30 is a gun control bill that is a solution in search of a problem that current law solves.

Claudio Fort, CEO, Rutland Regional Medical Center is the only witness.
Note that the witnesses in favor of the gun ban of S.30 testify as if the bill is not passed, firearms will have to be allowed in “hospitals” The realityis that guns can be and are currently banned.
The difference is that the current law allows for the removal of the firearm without requiring police intervention and S.30 brings the arrest of a person who does not intend to injure anyone and is willing to remove their gun.
