The hearing on gun control bill H.610 that was scheduled on the agenda of the House Judiciary Committee for 9 AM this morning has been re-scheduled for tomorrow. See Agenda below
H.610 has encountered huge and intensive opposition because it is unnecessary, has serious defects and violates the “due process” rights of gun owners. It is now on Draft 8.2.
Keep those contacts to the legislators arriving in the state house. The well paid local lobbyist of the national gun control groups have encountered far more intensive and effective opposition than they could have ever envisioned.
Please call the state house at 802-828-2228 or send an E-mail, using the link below, to tell your legislator “No to H.610. Due Process of Law Still Matters!”https://legislature.vermont.gov/people/search/2020
Vermont gun control legislation must have appeared to the gun control supporters to be low hanging and inexpensive fruit in our small population state. Let’s continue to prove them wrong
